Brother 2
Brother are a London based 5pc
band of contemporary, versatile, pro musicians. With a huge
repertoire from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's through to
the millenium, they play a selection of jazz, pop, rock, funk,
latin, r'n'b, soul, blues, rock n' roll and ballads.
Led by twin guitarist/vocalists
Brian and Paul - the band has a reputation for delivering
a performance of great songs with an authentic energy and
total command of their instruments - guaranteeing to
leave you and your guests/audience wanting more! A full
dance floor has always been our aim!
Their careers span musical associations with
some of the most talented, contemporary musicians around,
from top name bands such as Atlantic Soul Machine, China
Crisis, Depeche Mode, D - Ream, Fairground Attraction,
Gary Moore, Go West, US 3 and Van Morrison. The twin
brothers gained invaluable experience from touring and
playing with Shakatak, Sheila Ferguson (Three Degrees),
Odyssey, The Other Commitments, Ed Bentley and performing
as session musicians across the spectrum of Soca, Pop/Rock,
Funk, Jazz and Fusion - as well as writing music for TV
ads and programmes.
All the band members are full
time pro's having played with top London dance bands, in West
End shows as well as at virtually every sort of event and
occasion.
This collective and wide
experience offers enormous versatility - a vital ingredient
when you're playing to 'everyone in the house'. Whether Brother
2 Brother are playing at a wedding, private party,
graduation, 'soul night', diplomatic, society or corporate
event, the unique empathy between the brothers and their
absolute passion for live music shines through ensuring
success every time.
For smaller events or more
intimate settings the band can also perform as a duo -either
with their own computerised rhythm tracks (very popular) or
'unplugged'. Other options include a trio with the addition
of sax, or as a 4pc with live bass and drums.
