Cover Story is an experienced
five-piece function band based in London and the Home
Counties. We have performed at weddings, charity and
fundraising balls, dinner/dances, coporate events and
birthday parties. We are equally at home playing for 50
people as we are playing for several hundred.
We have a completely
flexible approach to events, appreciating that timings rarely go
to plan! We have played at various venues in and around London,
ranging from small function rooms through marquees to larger
venues, including the Croydon Hilton, Epsom Grandstand, Royal
Garden Hotel, Kensington, Harlequins Jester Suite, Twickenham,
Epsom & Ewell Lord Mayors CharityBall and Metropolitan Police
Summer Ball.

We have a large repertoire of popular
songs from the 50's and 60's through to modern day chart material.
We play in a variety of styles, including soul, ballads, pop,
rock and roll and latin so that a wide range of age groups is
catered for. We prefer to play live, avoiding the use of backing
tapes and minidiscs. We are always willing to discuss specific
songs or special requests. We have a full P.A. system together
with lighting, both static and disco / effect. The sound system
is also available for speeches, raffles and announcements.
