Simon Hughes ~ ~ ~ Pianist
I'm currently resident pianist at the Cardiff Marriott and
also play at another very popular venue.. I'm classically trained
to Grade 8, scholarship to the Welsh College of Music and Drama,
have a repertoire of around 400-500 pieces and play very up to
the minute songs- eg. Robbie, Catatonia and Manics- all of which
are tailored to fit the particular atmosphere, resulting in a
unique sound.
I have played several weddings and at venues in London's West End
(formerly resident pianist at the Hispaniola on the Embankment,
Butler's Wharf Wine Bar and the Soho and Charing Cross Pitcher
and Piano).
