May I please introduce our group of experienced musicians to your social calendar. We are known as The Springfield Jazz Ensemble, and play music in the New Orleans/Dixieland style. We can offer various group numbers from duo to sextet, depending on circumstances. Many of our performances are in quartet form. Our wide repertoire includes jazz standards, popular tunes, hymns and spirituals. We also have a vocal content. In addition to our Ensemble, I can offer solo clarinet performance, when required.

We play at a variety of functions. For example, wedding breakfast and/or evening wedding receptions, evening meals, dinner dances, conference dinners, village hall events, garden fetes, garden parties, church services and concerts, birthday parties, sports club events, presentation evenings, village open days, fund raising events, promotional events, barbecues, bandstand and theatre productions. We also offer street performance, when we are known as Happy Jazz and carry this name forward when we receive bookings from this source.

We travel extensively in the Midlands and East of England, and also to other parts of the United Kingdom.
If you require any further information, with no obligation, please contact John Haywood
